  • Who should take the PTE Academic test?

    All students applying to study in US, UK, Canada and any other English speaking country can take the PTE Academic test to prove their English Proficiency Levels.


  • Who will administer PTE Academic test?

    PTE Academic is created and administered by Pearson Language Tests part of the Pearson PLC group.


  • How can I register for the test?

    You can register for the PTE Academic test online. If you are a first time test taker, you will have to create a web account to schedule the test. If you are a returning test taker, you can use your existing web account to register for another test.


  • Can I reschedule my test?

    You may reschedule your test to a different date, time or location. To do this you will have to access your web account. Before rescheduling the test appointment, please check Payment and Fees section in the PTE Academic Hand Book (You may download the hand book at ).


  • Can I cancel my test?

    Yes. To do this you will have to access your web account. Before cancelling the test appointment, please check Payment and Fees section in the PTE Academic Hand Book (You may download the hand book at ).


  • Where is the test conducted?

    The test is conducted at Pearson Testing Centers in most of the countries around the world.


  • How and when will I get my results?

    Your scores will be available within 5 business days of your test date. You will receive an email to the address provided at the time of registration when your scores are available to be viewed online.


  • How long are my PTE Academic scores valid?

    PTE Academic test scores are valid for 2 years.


  • How often can I take the PTE Academic test?

    You can take the PTE Academic test any number of times as you wish. However, you can schedule another test 5 days after your last test appointment.
